The Elizabethan Ruff, possibly one of the most iconic fashion accessories in history, defined nearly 50 years of style in England, and spawned an entire industry just to support it. Come find out why this elegant and overstated design still captures our fashion imagination. This lecture will cover some of the history of the ruff, how its style progressed over time, how the ruff was worn and cared for, and how modern interpretations are still being worn today.
