Learn to make two different leaves and a vine of leaves using wired and unwired ribbon. Then take the same processes used to make those leaves to make flowers and buds, including a lily, poinsettia, and chrysanthemum.
PREREQUISITES: Students should have basic hand-sewing skills: securing thread, running stitch, backstitch, etc.

Tools and Materials to Bring:
- Basic sewing kit
- Sewing pins.
- Needles. I like milliners’, but any medium-sized needle will work.
- Fabric scissors
- Craft scissors
- White and medium green thread. I like quilters’ thread, but any strong thread works well.
- Straight edge like a 6” ruler.

- Two different colored permanent ink writing pens.
- Pen and paper for notes.
- Magnification device (optional)
